Phonics

In phonics we are learning about digraphs. We talked about how digraphs are two letters put together that make a new sound. The first thing we did was think of words that started or ended with certain digraphs. Then, we played a game called "Digraph Lotto". We each got a paper with squares on it. In each square was a word that either began or ended with a consonant digraph. Then we picked up a card with one of the digraphs on it. We colored in a square that had a word that started or ended with that digraph. The first person to color in their whole card, won the game!

I like the blog. I think it is good. We check it a lot. I like to see the pictures of my classmates. I hope we can take more pictures. I had a fun time looking at the blog. Your idea was great, Mrs. Cossiboon. Love, Emily

Doing the blog was such a great idea. We really enjoy looking at it. As a parent it's nice to see what's going when I'm not there. Sophia really enjoy seeing herself and her friends on the computer.

Thanks,
